MINISO will open a new store at Luton Point shopping centre on 20 June, becoming the latest addition to the lifestyle brand’s expanding UK retail footprint. The 2,723 sq ft unit will feature MINISO’s signature blend of own-brand products and popular character collectibles.

Located in Bedfordshire, Luton Point is a 900,000 sq ft centre that includes over 120 retailers and food outlets. The arrival of MINISO adds further variety to the centre’s retail mix, offering a wide product range including plush toys, homeware, stationery, tech accessories, beauty lines, and seasonal items.

Known for its emphasis on affordability and design, MINISO’s Luton store will also stock a selection of themed ranges featuring Sanrio characters such as Hello Kitty, Kuromi, and My Melody, alongside products inspired by Disney, Minecraft, and Harry Potter. The store’s layout is curated to appeal to a wide demographic, combining collectability with everyday functionality.

The Luton launch follows a string of 2025 openings for the brand, which has already established stores in Romford, Braehead, Liverpool, Kingston upon Thames, Edinburgh and Norwich. The Luton branch continues this strategy, bringing MINISO’s expanding catalogue to another high-footfall UK location.

Saad Usman, Chief Operating Officer at MINISO UK, said: “We’re incredibly excited to be bringing MINISO to Luton Point. Luton has a dynamic, diverse community and a growing reputation for vibrant retail experiences — it’s the perfect place for us to continue to connect with even more fans. From beloved characters like Hello Kitty to our trending Vinyl Plush Blind Boxes, we’ll be offering the full MINISO experience with something for everyone.”

Lavinia Douglass, Marketing Manager at Luton Point, added: “We’re looking forward to welcoming MINISO to our fantastic lineup of stores here at Luton Point, with their grand opening on Friday 20th June. Whether you’re already a fan of their fun and colourful ranges or looking to explore their collection for the first time, we encourage you to come along and soak up all that the store opening has to offer.”

The Luton store opening continues MINISO’s global strategy of establishing physical locations in high-traffic retail centres, supporting a brand approach centred around accessibility, visual appeal, and product variety.
