Sephora UK will open a new store in Oxford this autumn, located at Westgate Oxford, marking its fifth UK launch of 2025 and the eleventh store nationwide. The 3,919 sq ft sales floor will introduce the retailer’s signature black-and-white stripes to the historic city, offering an immersive, service-led beauty experience.

This opening follows the Liverpool ONE store, launched on 22 May, and is part of a broader rollout across the country, with additional locations set for Sheffield Meadowhall, Manchester Arndale, and Cardiff St. David’s. The Oxford location reflects Sephora UK’s ongoing strategy of positioning stores in areas combining rich heritage with modern retail appeal.

Oxford’s reputation as a global university hub with a vibrant student community and cultural scene aligns with Sephora’s blend of international reach and local connection. The new store is described by the brand as “bringing its one‑of‑a‑kind shopping experience to the heart of Oxfordshire’s vibrant, culturally rich community.”

Sarah Boyd, Managing Director of Sephora UK, said: “We’re thrilled to be bringing Sephora UK to the beautiful city of Oxford and the iconic Westgate Oxford shopping centre in the heart of the town. This marks our 11th store in the UK, with the passionate response from the UK beauty community continuing to drive our strategy as we look for new locations. With Oxford’s vibrant beauty scene, its dynamic student presence, and global tourist appeal, we expect this new store to become a buzzing hub of beauty activity.”

Pablo Sueiras, Head of Leasing at Landsec, commented: “We know there is strong demand for leading health and beauty brands, particularly those offering unique or exclusive products and elevated experiences. We are delighted to be welcoming the region’s first Sephora store to Westgate Oxford.”

The store will stock an expansive range of skincare, cosmetics, haircare, and fragrance products, including the brand’s own Sephora Collection. Customers will have access to a curated mix of global beauty favourites and cult labels.

In addition to its product range, the Oxford branch will provide tailored beauty services such as one-to-one consultations, gift-wrapping, and engraving. These in-store features aim to deliver a more interactive and personalised shopping experience.
