Peel Retail & Leisure has confirmed the launch of Søstrene Grene’s newest UK store at Gloucester Quays, marking the Danish brand’s first presence in the city.
Occupying a 3,987 sq ft unit at the main entrance on High Orchard Street, the store brings Søstrene Grene’s curated mix of Scandinavian-inspired homeware, small furniture, lifestyle accessories and craft supplies to local shoppers. The arrival adds a new international name to the outlet centre’s line-up, further expanding its lifestyle and interiors offer.
To mark the opening, Søstrene Grene hosted a celebratory launch which included live ballet and a string duo greeting guests at the entrance. The first 100 visitors received a voucher redeemable for a free rug, generating early footfall and buzz across the weekend.

The addition of Søstrene Grene follows recent announcements from Peel Retail & Leisure, including the upcoming opening of a 14,000 sq ft Clip ‘n Climb venue. Scheduled to launch next year on the upper deck of Gloucester Quays, the new family-friendly climbing attraction will further enhance the centre’s mix of retail and leisure offers.
