Victoria’s Secret is set to open its first standalone store in Derby at Derbion, as the shopping destination continues to enhance its retail offering. The new store will occupy a 5,712 sq ft unit on a 10-year lease, representing a key part of the brand’s UK expansion strategy.

Relocating from its current concession space within Next, the new Victoria’s Secret store will allow the brand to establish its own dedicated retail environment at Derbion. The store will become one of the retailer’s premier locations in the East Midlands, offering shoppers an extensive selection of luxurious lingerie, sleepwear, and beauty products.

The addition of Victoria’s Secret follows a strong year for Derbion, which saw 89,789 sq ft of new openings, upsizes, and relocations during 2024. The shopping centre has successfully attracted both new and established brands, as well as food and beverage and leisure operators, as part of its progressive leasing strategy.

Beth McDonald, Managing Director at Derbion, commented:
“Victoria’s Secret is an iconic premium brand with a strong customer base, so we are delighted that they have selected Derbion as one of its premier stores in the East Midlands. Our goal is to ensure Derbion has a diverse retail, leisure, and F&B mix as we look to maintain our place as the East Midlands’ premier retail and leisure destination. The arrival of Victoria’s Secret is testament to our progressive leasing strategy which continues to attract and retain big-name brands, helping us draw in shoppers from across the region.”

Victoria’s Secret’s new Derbion store is part of the brand’s ongoing UK expansion, which focuses on opening new locations in thriving retail destinations. Nicola Reeve, Head of Retail at Victoria’s Secret, said:
“We are pleased to be expanding our presence in Derby with the opening of this new permanent location at Derbion. Over the past few years, we have continued to expand our presence across the UK, opening new locations in thriving retail destinations. This new space at Derbion will allow us to serve more of our customers from across the East Midlands as well as draw in new visitors.”
