Danish lifestyle brand Søstrene Grene has confirmed plans to open a new store at The Beacon in Eastbourne, bringing its Scandinavian design-led homewares and lifestyle products to the South Coast.
The opening represents a new addition to Eastbourne’s retail mix and will introduce the brand’s distinctive store concept to the town. Known for its calm, immersive environments, Søstrene Grene stores are designed to encourage slower, more considered shopping.
The Eastbourne store forms part of Søstrene Grene’s wider UK expansion, as demand continues to grow for its approach to affordable, well-designed everyday products. The retailer’s range spans kitchenware, soft furnishings, craft items and seasonal décor, with collections refreshed weekly.
Reflecting the Danish concept of hygge, stores typically feature soft lighting, classical music and a labyrinth-style layout intended to create a relaxed, sensory experience.

The retailer currently operates more than 380 stores across 17 markets. In the UK, Søstrene Grene has set out plans to reach 100 stores by the end of 2027.
