Zara Home To Open First Standalone Store In Ireland
The 15,854 sq ft homewares store will join Dundrum Town’s Pembroke District, as Zara and M&S undertake separate expansion and refurbishment projects at the destination.
Zara Home is to open its first standalone store in Ireland at Dundrum Town later in 2026, Hammerson has announced.
Hammerson said the 15,854 sq ft Zara Home store will occupy a unit in Town Square and operate as an anchor within the Pembroke District at Dundrum Town.
Zara Home will offer collections across bedroom, living, dining and bathroom categories, bringing the homeware brand’s standalone store format to the Irish market for the first time.
Zara Expands Existing Dundrum Store
The opening follows a separate expansion and refurbishment of Zara’s existing Dundrum store. The project will increase the fashion retailer’s footprint by 43%, from 26,300 sq ft to 37,700 sq ft.
The expanded store is scheduled for completion in late autumn 2026 and will introduce an updated store design and customer environment.
M&S Undertakes Store Transformation
M&S has also extended its lease at the destination and is undertaking a multi-million-euro transformation of its store. That project is expected to be completed during winter 2026.
“We are delighted that Zara Home has chosen Dundrum Town for its market debut in Ireland. Zara Home will be a fantastic addition and will complement our premium brand mix and enhance overall customer experience. This announcement, alongside Zara’s significant upsizing and refurbishment, is a substantial vote of confidence in Dundrum as Ireland’s leading destination for global retailers and in the strength of the Irish retail market.”
Claire Macken Country Director, Hammerson
The three projects will introduce a new homeware anchor and expanded space for two existing retailers at Dundrum Town during 2026.
