Dalton Park has secured Crocs’ first outlet store in the North East, with the global footwear brand due to open at the destination this autumn.

The new 1,530 sq ft store will stock Crocs’ clogs alongside sandals, other footwear and accessories for adults and children, bringing the brand’s outlet offer to North East shoppers for the first time.

Crocs will join Dalton Park’s existing footwear line-up, adding another internationally recognised name to the outlet destination’s wider fashion and lifestyle offer. The opening follows the brand’s continued development of its UK outlet presence, including its London Designer Outlet store.

“Bringing the first Crocs outlet to the North East gives us an opportunity to add something genuinely different to an already well-established footwear offer at Dalton Park. Crocs has a distinctive proposition and appeals to a particularly broad customer base, so it complements the footwear brands already here rather than simply adding more of the same.

“Our focus is on giving customers more variety and more reasons to visit. Crocs does exactly that, while also giving shoppers across the region access to the brand in an outlet setting for the first time.”

Nicky Lovell, Head of Outlets and Retail Business Development at Global Mutual

The Crocs signing follows a series of additions to Dalton Park’s retailer mix. Recent openings include Belstaff and TFG London’s multi-brand store bringing together Hobbs, Phase Eight and Whistles.

The new Crocs store is scheduled to open at Dalton Park this autumn.
