Lindt & Sprüngli is to open a Lindt Chocolate Shop on Buchanan Street in Glasgow on Friday 13 November, its 31st Chocolate Shop in the UK.
The 2,152 sq ft store will be the Swiss chocolatier’s third in Scotland, joining its shops at Livingston and Caledonia Park, and continues a run of UK openings for Lindt that this year has included a new chocolate boutique at centre:mk.
The shop will offer Lindt’s Pick & Mix, with more than 30 chocolate varieties, from limited-edition seasonal flavours such as Cinnamon Roll to store exclusives including Popcorn, Cherry Blossom, Marc Champenois, Stracciatella and Giandujotto. A Chocolate Bar will make Lindt CREMA GELATA ice cream, hot chocolate drinks and shakes in store using Lindt chocolate.
Customers will also find a curated range of gifts, with custom gift tags and ribbons available from the gifting team, and can join the free MyLindt Rewards programme, which offers 10% off a first purchase.
Ahead of Christmas, the shop will stock Lindt’s festive range, including LINDOR gift boxes, an in-store exclusive TEDDY Ski edition of the Lindt TEDDY and the limited-edition LINDOR Shortbread, which sold out last year. Advent calendars include a customisable Pick & Mix calendar, and the new LINDOR Cinnamon Roll is available only in Lindt stores and online.
To mark the opening, LINDOR chocolates will be handed out to visitors, and the first 250 customers who spend at least £15 will receive a goodie bag, with golden envelopes containing a surprise hidden in 13 of them.
