JORUM STUDIO, Scotland’s independent fragrance house, has opened its first London flagship store at 2 Marylebone Street, bringing its distinctive scent philosophy to the capital. The new two-storey location marks a significant step for the brand, following the success of its Edinburgh boutique.
Founded by perfumer Euan McCall and creative director Chloe Mullen, JORUM STUDIO presents a modern, poetic approach to fragrance, blending artistic craftsmanship with cultural storytelling. To mark the London opening, the brand has released six Marylebone-exclusive scents, each reflecting the deep cultural and historical ties between Scotland and London.

Among the limited-edition releases is Young Pretender, a musk-led fragrance inspired by Bonnie Prince Charlie and the portrait of him in Mount Street Restaurant’s Scottish Room. Tesserae, favoured by McCall, draws from Eduardo Paolozzi’s mosaic art in Tottenham Court Road Station. A New Bond references both New Bond Street and the bond between London and Edinburgh. Rose Regent pays tribute to the floral richness of Regent’s Park, while Study In Scarlet nods to Sherlock Holmes and Conan Doyle’s Marylebone links. Finally, Aiton’s Bloom, Mullen’s personal favourite, honours Scottish botanist William Aiton and the creative director’s family heritage.
These fragrances are available in 50ml bottles, exclusively in-store, priced between £218 and £278.
“London has always been a city of inspiration and influence for us. Opening our first store in London’s Marylebone Village is an opportunity to connect directly with our London community offering a space for discovery, exploration, and sensory storytelling in the most authentic way possible. We are particularly excited about introducing Marylebone exclusive scents to our customers,” said co-founder Euan McCall.

The flagship store’s design aims to create a refined sensory experience. The interiors blend contemporary Scottish craftsmanship with classic and international design elements. Pieces by makers such as Jeni Allison and Chalk Plaster are paired with antiques and iconic furniture from figures like Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Danish designers Louise Roe and Christian + Jade, along with Sofie Østerby and USM Haller, contribute to the sophisticated yet intimate atmosphere.

JORUM STUDIO remains committed to sustainability and transparency. All products are created in-house using premium raw materials. The brand also supports Scotland’s creative sector through the Jorum Craft Award, developed with Craft Scotland to recognise and elevate local makers.
