Mango has opened its first store in Aberdeen, located within Union Square shopping centre. The new 4,844 sq ft store brings the fashion brand’s presence in Scotland to nine locations and has created 20 new jobs.

The store features Mango’s full womenswear range, including clothing, footwear and accessories, designed at its Barcelona-based atelier. The collection combines classic staples with trend-led items influenced by the brand’s Mediterranean heritage.

Reflecting Mango’s New Med retail concept, the interior design incorporates natural textures, warm tones and sustainable materials to create a bright and inviting retail space.

This opening supports Mango’s 2024–2026 4Es Strategic Plan, which aims to expand the brand’s UK footprint. The plan includes a target to open 500 new stores globally between 2023 and 2026, with 20 new UK openings planned for 2025.

The expansion follows Mango’s strong performance in the first half of 2025, with global turnover reaching €1.73 billion—an increase of 12% year-on-year. Growth was attributed to the popularity of Mango’s collections and new store launches.

“Our new Mango Woman store in Aberdeen is a confident step forward for Mango, building on the strong progress we have made over the last year to broaden the appeal of Mango to even more customers across the UK. Aberdeen is the perfect new home to introduce our womenswear collection to more Scottish customers, in a store format that truly represents the Mediterranean soul of our brand.”

At the close of 2024, Mango operated more than 80 stores across the UK, alongside its online platform and partnerships with digital marketplaces.
