On Friday, 3rd November at 10:00 am, Lush, the renowned fresh handmade cosmetic brand, will unveil a new store in the bustling area of Covent Garden. Initially, the store will serve as an exclusive festive pop-up, boasting a retail space of 255 sqm. Come Spring 2024, the store plans to expand by an additional 176 sqm to incorporate the brand’s transformative Lush Spa.

Ellen Peters, Lush UK&I Property Director, expressed her enthusiasm: “We’re thrilled to be returning to the historic market and now vibrant retail hub of Covent Garden. In keeping with the market’s heritage when flowers, fruits, vegetables, roots and herbs would have been sold, we’ll bring our local, handmade, products made from fresh ingredients. Our new store, set in a fantastic listed building with entrances from both Long Acre and Floral Street, will give our customers the unique shopping experience that they want and deserve. We’re excited to accommodate our Lush Spa concept within this space and look forward to providing an oasis of calm within central London where our customers can slow down to speed up. Our thanks to Picton, the Landlord, who we are grateful to have entered into partnership with, as well as all agents and solicitors involved in the process.”

The timing of the new store’s opening is particularly strategic, coinciding with the Christmas shopping season. This allows shoppers to grab their favourite festive items, including the best-selling Snow Fairy collection, which will have a dedicated pink section in the store. According to Lush’s sales data, one Snow Fairy product was sold every 5 seconds in the UK during the 2022 festive period.
