French eyewear brand bloobloom has opened a new 615 sq ft store at 41 Brushfield Street in East London’s Spitalfields, marking its seventh location in the capital. The store commenced operations on 2 May 2025, joining existing outlets in Canary Wharf, Carnaby, Covent Garden, King’s Road, Marylebone, and White City.
The interior design draws inspiration from Mediterranean coastal architecture, featuring creamy stucco walls, microcement floors, rounded ceilings and arches, and sand-toned linen curtains that diffuse natural light. Contrasting elements include brutalist-inspired sculptural furniture with raw textures and solid forms, creating a balance between softness and structure.

Customers can access the full range of bloobloom’s eyewear, including sunglasses and spectacles, with prices starting at £99. The store offers walk-in eye examinations with in-house opticians, adjustment and repair services, and personalised style advice. All frames are handcrafted from sustainable materials.

Abbas Manai, Co-Founder at bloobloom, stated:
“Opening in a prime spot in Spitalfields, is the perfect next step for bloobloom. This location allows us to deepen our connection with the East London community. Spitalfields is an exciting shopping destination, and expanding our retail presence here helps us grow our reach while staying true to our mission of making quality stylish eyewear more accessible. We are looking forward to welcoming loyal and new customers to this store.”

Jason Dervin, Spitalfields Estate Director, commented:
“We’re thrilled that bloobloom is joining our vibrant retail community. We believe the designer eyewear brand’s distinctive style and offering will not only excite our existing visitors but draw in a new wave of style-conscious individuals to discover all that Spitalfields has to offer.”
Founded in 2018 by Abbas and Fares Manai, bloobloom operates a ‘Pair for a Pair’ initiative, donating a pair of glasses to someone in need for every purchase made. The brand also offers a ‘Pay What You Can’ loyalty scheme, allowing customers to choose their second pair of spectacles or sunglasses from a tiered pricing system.
