Lone Design Club (LDC) has launched a new five-month retail pop-up at Battersea Power Station, marking the company’s most extended residency to date and its first London location in over a year. The initiative follows 18 months of development on Revolving Spaces, a proprietary proptech platform aimed at transforming underutilised high street space into flexible retail opportunities.
The store, located within the newly redeveloped Battersea Power Station neighbourhood, is part of LDC’s broader push toward curated, immersive shopping experiences. The platform connects property owners with a pre-vetted community of independent brands, offering a retail format that includes operational support such as staffing, logistics, visual merchandising, and store fit-outs.

Described as a retail incubator, LDC serves both emerging and established fashion and lifestyle brands. Through its infrastructure and services, the platform allows brands to concentrate on product development, community engagement, and marketing, while LDC manages day-to-day operations. The concept responds to a growing trend in the retail sector where consumers seek out brands with values centred on sustainability, craft, and transparency.
“We’re incredibly excited to be back in London, and there’s no better place than Battersea Power Station, a true symbol of transformation and creative energy. This store isn’t just a retail space; it’s a celebration of innovation, individuality, and impact, and with our month residency, it’s also our most ambitious and immersive project yet. It’s been a year since our last London pop-up, and we’re returning with a renewed focus on destination retail, giving brands and shoppers more time to connect, engage, and be inspired,” said Rebecca Morter, Founder and CEO of Lone Design Club.

Visitors can expect a regularly refreshed roster of designers and lifestyle brands, many of whom are making their London retail debut. Confirmed names include Alexandra Mann, Storm Label, Emily’s Jewellery, Oceanus, Above & Below, Cove, and Frankie Bikinis. These brands bring offerings that span contemporary ready-to-wear, sustainably produced accessories, and ethically made swimwear.
Additional programming will include designer meet-and-greets, personal styling appointments, and panel discussions focusing on sustainable fashion and entrepreneurship. These elements aim to position the pop-up as a destination for both shopping and community-building.
“We’re always looking at how we can evolve our retail offering and create the best shopping experiences for our visitors. The demand for experiential retail continues to grow, as does consumers’ appetite to support and shop small, independent fashion brands. With its rotating line-up of brands, in-store events and designer meet-and-greets, the Lone Design Club pop-up at Battersea Power Station will offer shoppers a new experience every time they visit, which is fantastic,” said Harriett Renny, Leasing Director at Battersea Power Station Development Company.
The launch reflects LDC’s shift toward longer-term, location-focused pop-ups, aligning with broader consumer preferences for thoughtful, engaging shopping environments. The Battersea initiative follows previous LDC activations in cities such as Cardiff and Bristol.
